Diario Sur has reported on our future plans… and we’re delighted to share them. They’ve published an article about the two new boutique hotels we’re planning in Málaga’s historic centre, which will join the four establishments we already have in the city.
The first will be located at 38 Alameda Principal, in a 19th-century building listed as a Grade 1 protected architectural heritage site, which we will restore with the utmost care and to the highest standards. Under the name Alameda Premium, this building will feature 33 rooms and will be the most luxurious establishment in our chain: high ceilings, a spectacular central courtyard and unbeatable views of the Alameda. Furthermore, to ensure guests can enjoy it to the full, it will feature a terrace bar from which to admire this iconic part of the city. A hotel which, like all our projects, will showcase Málaga’s culture and architecture, tailored to travellers who wish to experience Málaga in every way.
Biedmas Premium, meanwhile, is the second hotel in the pipeline. It will be located at 14–16 Biedmas Street, next to Carretería. It will feature 40 rooms, Andalusian-inspired courtyards and an investment of around eight million euros. This hotel will also be the Group’s first to target the wellness tourism market. Focused on the traveller’s well-being and relaxation experiences, Biedmas will feature a spa and Turkish bath, amongst other facilities.
Biedmas will also house the group’s largest meeting room, with capacity for up to 100 people, making it a leading venue for events and conventions in the centre of Málaga.
Between the two projects, we expect to create more than 25 new jobs, reinforcing the social impact on the city and the strong employment ecosystem that defines Grupo Premium.
Both establishments are scheduled to open over the next two years. With them, we hope to continue bringing to life a 360º experience concept for those visiting our city, one that goes far beyond accommodation.
