January. Art and Music
The cultural year in Malaga kicked off with a wide range of activities in museums, galleries and public spaces. February. A Month for the Senses
February brings with it film, art and thought festivals. From 12 February to 5 March, the Málaga de Festival (MaF 2026) programme occupies thirty venues across the city with more than 125 cultural activities, including music, film, workshops and talks.
In addition, Art Week Málaga (from 24th February to 1st March) is held during this period, an event that turns the city into a hub of galleries, museums and urban art with more than 50 institutions collaborating in exhibitions, talks and creative workshops.

Cinema, Festivals and Cultural Spring
March is packed with cinema with the 29th Malaga Film Festival, one of the most important film events in Spain. Summer. Street Culture and Traditional Fairs
