The 2026 Malaga Film Festival once again transforms the city into the cultural epicenter of southern Europe. From March 6 to 15, Malaga is filled with talent, red carpets, premieres, and visitors looking to experience cinema… but also the city. The 2026 Malaga Festival will be held from March 6 to 15 in the city of Malaga, using its usual venues. These include the Cervantes Theater, where the opening gala will take place. In addition, other venues such as the Albéniz cinema, the Echegaray theater, the María Victoria Atencia cultural center, and the Christine Ruiz-Picasso Auditorium will also host various screenings and activities during the festival, among many other locations. Filmmaker Jaione Camborda, renowned for her work on O Corno, will chair the jury for the official feature film section this year. The jury will also include Belén Funes, Daniela Michel, Loreto Mauleón, Rosa Montero, Gastón Pauls, and Santiago Roncagliolo.
